needs

Personalized care

We are the center in Argentina with the highest number of professionals dedicated to each patient. Throughout the rehabilitation process, patients are supported and guided by professionals who follow their progress and recovery day by day, together with their attending physician.

Time optimization

By connecting three key pillars—pre-assessment, personalized treatment and follow-up, and advanced technology— we achieve better time optimization to help anticipate the duration of rehabilitation therapy.

Programs

Spinal column injuries, or spinal cord injuries, can cause permanent or temporary damage to the spinal cord, which transmits messages to and from the brain.

Stroke rehabilitation is dynamic and progressive. At Rehab Center, we have a multidisciplinary team with strong expertise in each treatment pathway.

The main goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and functional recovery.

Restoring lost brain functions requires relearning, and that is the greatest challenge at the core of neurorehabilitation.

It is estimated that around 14% of COVID-19 cases develop severe conditions that may require rehabilitation.

Older adults and those with pre-existing health conditions may be more vulnerable to the effects of severe illness, and rehabilitation can be especially beneficial to maintain the level of independence they had before.

Many neurological conditions cause temporary or progressive disability and require rehabilitation. Rehab Center offers treatment programs for the following conditions:

‱ Parkinson’s disease
‱ Multiple sclerosis
‱ Chronic pain management
‱ Deconditioning after hospitalization or prolonged illness
‱ Multiple trauma
‱ Respiratory rehabilitation
‱ Cardiovascular rehabilitation
‱ Progressive cognitive disorders
‱ Severe disorders of consciousness
‱ Single-limb trauma and amputations
‱ Polyneuropathies and neuromuscular diseases

Special Programs

We address chronic pain associated with spinal conditions.

A specialized team trained in pediatric and adult spine conditions evaluates the disorders and prepares a comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment plan. The team includes professionals in neurosurgery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology.

Highly recommended for upper-limb weakness due to conditions such as stroke, and for intensive gait rehabilitation controlled by a computer to perform programmed activities.

It can be used for upper or lower limbs, unilaterally or bilaterally, as it features 12 output channels.

Professional Background

Twenty years ago, they were pioneers in driving a change in Argentina’s rehabilitation model. They positioned rehabilitation as an essential link in our country’s healthcare system by adopting modern techniques used in leading countries.

They founded this area at the Fleni Escobar Rehabilitation Institute, where they worked for more than twenty years and marked a milestone in the history of rehabilitation in Argentina.

Today, most rehabilitation centers still follow those treatment models adopted two decades ago.

Now, our directors—together with a team of specialized, interdisciplinary professionals—are introducing a new paradigm shift, renewing and updating treatment programs by incorporating advances in neuroscience and state-of-the-art technology into the design of effective programs, with predictable duration and outcomes. They also develop personalized equipment so patients can fully achieve their goals. This new concept is built by integrating the patient, their family, and their attending physician, under the supervision of the specialists Dr. Olmos and PT Oscar AlzĂșa.
